About the Role

Ferrero is a leading chocolate manufacturer known for its commitment to quality and innovation. We're seeking a skilled Maintenance Millwright or Electrician/PLC Technician to join our team in Brantford, ON. As a key member of our maintenance team, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our chocolate and confectionary manufacturing facilities.

Main Responsibilities
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairing food processing equipment to optimize safety, reliability, and food safety standards.
  • Participate in continuous improvement projects, installing, commissioning, and optimizing machinery to ensure top-notch processes.
  • Take charge of equipment change-overs and production line setups, ensuring seamless operations.
  • Conduct welding, machining, and fabrication tasks as needed, maintaining impeccable sanitation standards, housekeeping, and cleanliness in our maintenance shop.
  • Ensure compliance with regulations and procedures to maintain the highest levels of health and safety, food safety, GMPs, and HACCP standards.
Requirements
  • Valid Industrial Mechanic/Millwright trade license (433A) or Industrial Maintenance Electrician License (442A or 309A).
  • Relevant experience (8+ years if unlicensed).
  • Previous experience within the food and beverage or consumer packaged goods industry is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to work independently or collaborate within a team environment.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to work rotating shifts to support continuous operation.
