Automation & Digitalization Engineer Opportunity

At ANDRITZ, we're passionate about delivering innovative solutions to our customers globally. Our Automation & Digitalization division is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Engineer or Technologist to join our team in Prince George, BC.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Audit industrial facilities and develop preliminary engineering designs and estimates for electrical and control system upgrades.
  2. Design, develop, and deliver high-quality engineering solutions that improve plant productivity, reliability, and sustainability for our North American customers.
  3. Prepare and evaluate tender and construction packages, including electrical and instrumentation drawings, installation specifications, and other supporting documentation.
Essential Skills and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree or technology diploma in a relevant engineering discipline.
  • Minimum of five years' experience in industrial automation engineering; preferably in Pulp & Paper.
  • Registered (or eligible for registration) with EGBC or ASTTBC.
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Ability and willingness to travel (10-20%) to domestic and international sites.
