About The Job

We are seeking a skilled Countertop Installer to join our team at The Granite Shoppe. As a Countertop Installer, you will be responsible for installing exterior and interior prefabricated products, ensuring a high level of professionalism and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Installation: Install exterior and interior prefabricated products, including countertops, sinks, and faucets.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, ensuring that customers are satisfied with the installation and any subsequent repairs.
  • Blueprint Reading: Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements.
  • Repair and Maintenance: Repair and service exterior and interior prefabricated products, including countertops, sinks, and faucets.
  • Layout and Installation: Determine layout and installation procedures for exterior and interior prefabricated products.
  • Material Preparation: Prepare and maintain work materials and supplies, including tools and equipment.
  • Heavy Lifting: Load and unload trucks with supplies and equipment, and handle heavy loads as required.
  • Tool Operation: Utilize hand and power tools, including saws, drills, and sanders.
  • Scaffolding and Platforms: Erect and install scaffolding, falsework, and other working platforms as required.
Work Environment

The Countertop Installer will work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment, with regular exposure to heavy lifting, bending, and standing. The ideal candidate will have excellent physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this position.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field is preferred.
  • Language: English is the primary language of communication in this role.
  • Work Schedule: 44 hours per week, with regular overtime as required.
