Job Title: Cash Handling Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and organized Cash Handling Specialist to join our team. As a Cash Handling Specialist, you will be responsible for retrieving, sorting, counting, and reconciling daily cash and coin receipts from different areas within the facility. You will also prepare deposits for daily revenues in an accurate, secure, and efficient manner in accordance with proper policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform slot machine drop pulls: collect cash/ticket cassettes from all electronic gaming machines and, where applicable, replace with empty cash/ticket cassettes.
  • Perform table games drop pulls: collect cash or poker-chip drop boxes from all table games and, where applicable, replace with empty drop boxes.
  • Participate in the float preparation, loading and unloading of ticket redemption machines and, where applicable, ATMs and NRTs.
  • Count and reconcile monies collected from slot machines, poker tables, and, where applicable, table games Pull Tab machines, Keno machines and vending machines.
  • Prepare daily deposits for Slots, Lotteries, Food and Beverage and Table Games (as applicable).
  • Verify and reconcile money delivered from the bank or a vending machine company.
  • Prepare cash and coin floats for specific stations (e.g. Food and Beverage; Guest Services).
  • Replenish Pull Tab machines. (at applicable sites) Ensure and document proper Machine Maintenance.

Requirements:

  • Good communication skills
  • Good customer service skills
  • Self-motivated and works well with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment
  • Detail oriented, reliable, punctual, efficient, and diligent in duties and responsibilities
  • Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate effectively
  • Ability to operate cash and coin counting machines
  • Working knowledge with computer skills in spreadsheets
