Groundskeeper and Landscaper

XCEL Landscape Services Inc. is seeking a skilled Landscape Worker to join our team. As a key member of our outdoor maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the beauty and functionality of our clients' outdoor spaces.

• Assist with Landscape Constructions: Collaborate with our team to design and implement landscape construction projects, including planting, pruning, and installing hardscapes.
• Tie and Secure Plants: Ensure plants are properly secured to prevent damage or loss.
• Weed, Prune, and Trim Trees and Plants: Maintain the health and appearance of trees and plants through regular pruning and trimming.
• Cut Grass: Maintain lawn health through regular mowing and edging.
• Rake and Collect Refuse: Keep outdoor spaces clean and free of debris.
• Remove Litter and Garbage: Ensure outdoor spaces are free of trash and litter.
• Cart and Spread Topsoil and Other Materials: Assist with the distribution of topsoil and other materials for landscaping projects.
• Lay Sod or Seed: Install new sod or seed to maintain healthy lawns.
• Plant Bulbs, Flowers, Shrubs, and Trees: Plant and maintain a variety of plants to enhance outdoor spaces.
• Apply Fertilizers: Maintain the health of plants through regular fertilization.
• Dig Cemetery Graves: Assist with the excavation of graves in cemeteries.
• Repair and Maintain Equipment: Ensure equipment is in good working order to prevent downtime.
• Water and Tend to Plants, Lawns, and/or Gardens: Maintain the health of plants, lawns, and gardens through regular watering and care.
• Operate and Maintain Landscape Maintenance Equipment: Safely operate and maintain equipment to ensure efficient and effective maintenance.
• Plant and Move Trees: Plant and relocate trees to enhance outdoor spaces.Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities
