Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Part Time Culinary Specialist to join our team. As a Cook, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional food quality and service in a fast-paced event environment. Your passion for food and cooking will shine through in every dish, and you will take pride in maintaining a clean and safe kitchen.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook food according to O&B standards and recipes
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, adhering to sanitation and food safety guidelines
  • Assist in food inventory and control, and properly receive and store delivered items
  • Work effectively under pressure, taking direction and feedback from senior staff
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure seamless service and high-quality food

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of cooking experience in a fast-paced restaurant or event environment
  • Culinary diploma/degree is an asset
  • Basic understanding of professional cooking and knife handling skills
  • Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure
  • Able to spend 100% of the time standing
