Job Title: Esthetician

We are seeking a skilled Esthetician to join our team at Allora Laser & Spa Ltd. As an Esthetician, you will be responsible for providing exceptional skincare and beauty services to our clients.

Job Description:Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide body care and treatments, including permanent hair removal, laser hair removal, and waxing.
  • Apply or remove artificial nails and nail art, and provide eyebrow tinting and eyelash services.
  • Offer relaxation massage, skin care, and skin peels to promote overall well-being.
  • Maintain and build a loyal client base through exceptional customer service.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Will train on-the-job.
  • Participates in a government or community program or initiative that supports youth employment.
  • Offers mentorship, coaching, and/or networking opportunities for youth.
  • Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth.
Work Setting:
  • Electrolysis studio.
  • Esthetician's salon.
  • Beauty shop or aesthetic service.
  • Spa.
Tasks:
  • Body care/treatments.
  • Permanent hair removal.
  • Laser hair removal.
  • Apply or remove artificial nails and nail art.
  • Eyebrow tinting.
  • Provide scalp treatment.
  • Facials.
  • Repair and mask aesthetic defects.
  • Maintain and build own clientele.
  • Manicures.
  • Pedicures.
  • Relaxation massage.
  • Skin care.
  • Skin peels.
  • Waxing.
  • Eyebrow threading.
  • Provide customer service.
Experience:
  • Will train.
Support for Youths:
  • Participates in a government or community program or initiative that supports youth employment.
  • Offers on-the-job training tailored to youth.
  • Offers mentorship, coaching and/or networking opportunities for youth.
  • Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth.
Support for Indigenous People:
  • Participates in a government or community program or initiative that supports Indigenous people.
  • Offers mentorship, coaching and/or networking opportunities for Indigenous workers.
  • Develops and maintains relationships with indigenous communities, indigenous-owned businesses and organizations.
  • Provides cultural competency training and/or awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers.
  • Facilitates access to Elders who can offer support and guidance to Indigenous workers.
