Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Shipper-Receiver to manage our logistics operations at Eastern Canada International Logistics LTD. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth flow of goods through our distribution network.

Key Responsibilities
  • Shipping Method Determination: Assess and select the most efficient shipping methods for our products.
  • Distribution Scheduling: Organize and plan the distribution of goods to meet customer demands.
  • Documentation Preparation: Prepare essential shipping documents including bills of lading and invoices.
  • Goods Inspection: Verify incoming shipments against invoices and other relevant documents.
  • Record Maintenance: Maintain an accurate internal record-keeping system for inventory management.
  • Shortage and Damage Reporting: Document any shortages and manage the rejection of damaged goods.
  • Storage Routing: Direct goods to their designated storage areas efficiently.
  • Labeling: Ensure all shipments are properly labeled with identifying information and shipping instructions.
  • Loading Oversight: Supervise the loading and unloading processes to ensure safety and efficiency.
Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: No prior experience required; training will be provided.
  • Employment Type: Permanent position.
  • Working Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
