Heritage Inn Hotel & Convention Centre is seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Manager
Key Responsibilities:
- Continuously assess the performance of staff within the Housekeeping and Laundry divisions.
- Establish and uphold procedures that guarantee seamless operations in alignment with the hotel's quality standards.
- Conduct thorough inspections of cleaned rooms on a daily basis.
- Perform inspection rounds in designated areas to ensure compliance with quality benchmarks and departmental guidelines.
- Recruit, train, and oversee all personnel in the Housekeeping and Laundry departments, providing ongoing training based on performance evaluations.
- Maintain cleanliness and functionality of workspaces, equipment, and laundry facilities at all times.
- Facilitate departmental meetings to discuss updates and improvements.
- Address guest inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
- Coordinate staff schedules and delegate tasks as necessary.
- Ensure work areas are consistently stocked, organized, and maintained according to established cleaning schedules.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Ability to perform effectively under pressure and within tight deadlines.
- Collaborative team player.
- Exhibits strong leadership capabilities.
- Adheres to safe work practices.
Additional Information:
- Availability for shifts and weekend work is essential.
- Position requires prolonged periods of standing.
- Some physical labor and heavy lifting may be necessary.

- Strong communication and supervisory competencies.
Knowledge and Experience:
- Comprehensive understanding of provincial labor standards and regulations.
- Experience in recruitment, training, performance evaluation, strategic planning, guest relations, team development, policy implementation, and staff coordination.
- Thorough knowledge of the WHMIS program.
Preferred Background:
- Prior experience as an assistant Housekeeping Manager or Housekeeping Supervisor is advantageous.
