**About the Role**

We're looking for a seasoned software engineer with a passion for fintech to join our team. As a Staff Software Engineer, you'll be responsible for leading technical initiatives, mentoring junior engineers, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality features to our customers.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Lead technical initiatives and drive engineering solutions to improve our product and processes
  • Mentor and coach junior engineers to help them grow professionally
  • Collaborate with Product and Design teams to determine the shape and content of our roadmap
  • Participate in code review and testing to ensure high-quality code
  • Research and communicate best practices within the team's domain
  • Break down complex technical issues and explain them to both technical and non-technical audiences

**Requirements**

  • Experience leading a team or project and acting as a technical leader
  • Demonstrated level of software engineering experience on a full stack-focused team
  • Excellent collaboration skills and ability to communicate and listen to others
  • Proven track record of building highly scalable software
  • Strong software design and architecture skills
  • Enthusiasm for delivering value early and often to customers
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and prioritize accordingly

**Nice to Have**

  • Fintech experience is a plus, but not required

**Our Technology Stack**

We use a range of technologies, including React, React Native, TypeScript, GraphQL API layer, and Ruby on Rails on AWS. If you have experience with some or most of these technologies, that's great. We care more about your openness and ability to learn new tools.
