Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Double Reach Forklift Operator to join our team at Atout Recrutement. As a key member of our warehouse team, you will be responsible for operating a narrow aisle double reach truck, receiving, shipping, and placing goods in pallet racks, and performing various tasks to ensure efficient inventory management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a narrow aisle double reach truck to move goods and materials within the warehouse
  • Receive, ship, and place goods in pallet racks using sit-down, stand-up forklifts, and pallet trucks
  • Select the quantities required on shipping slips, taking into account special notes if applicable
  • Identify and resolve any problems that may arise during the inventory management process
  • Assemble merchandise and ensure accurate labeling and packaging
  • Verify the location of completed orders on the order form
  • Perform simple mathematical calculations to ensure accurate inventory management
  • Use a bar code reader to track inventory and ensure accurate data entry
  • Operate electric or manual forklifts as needed
  • Meet physical demands of the job, including lifting loads of approximately 20 kg
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of six (6) months of experience in a similar position
  • Valid forklift/sitting truck handling cards and electric standing narrow aisle (Double reach) certification
  • Spoken French or English, orally and in writing
  • Ability to perform simple mathematical calculations
  • Knowledge of using a bar code reader
  • Ability to use electric or manual forklift
  • Physical ability to lift loads of approximately 20 kg
