Job Title: Junior Baker

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Baker to join our team at True Grain Bread Ltd. As a Junior Baker, you will be responsible for assisting in the production of high-quality baked goods, ensuring that all products meet our established standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Preparation and Baking: Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls, and sweet goods, as well as batters for muffins, cookies, and cakes, according to recipes or special customer orders.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that the quality of products meets established standards, and check products and packaging for basic quality defects.
  • Maintenance and Cleaning: Clean machines and immediate work areas, and assist process control and machine operators in performing their duties.
  • Transportation and Handling: Transport raw materials, finished products, and packaging materials, and measure and dump ingredients into hoppers of mixing and grinding machines.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
  • Skills: Food safety/handling skills, attention to detail, fast-paced environment, handling heavy loads, manual dexterity, physically demanding, repetitive tasks, standing for extended periods, bending, crouching, kneeling.
