About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Journeyman Sheet Metal Worker to join our team at Kelowna Roofing (1984) Ltd. as an Installation and Fabrication Specialist.

Key Responsibilities
  • Select and operate metalworking machines to cut, punch, drill, shape, or straighten sheet metal for residential and small commercial construction projects.
  • Supervise and coordinate with other workers to ensure efficient and safe installation of sheet metal products according to specifications and building codes.
  • Install sheet metal products, including custom items, in various locations, such as installation, shop fabrication, and on-site fabrication.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations, including Fall Arrest Protection Training and Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certification.
  • Collaborate with the team to develop and implement efficient fabrication and installation processes.
Requirements
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in the field of sheet metal work.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to relocate for this position.
  • Steel-toed safety boots and tools required.
  • Sheet Metal Worker Trade Certification and Red Seal Certificate.
  • WHMIS Certificate and Fall Arrest Protection Training.
