Northern Lakes College is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Instructor, Practical Nurse to join our team. As a key member of our faculty, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality educational programs and services to our students.
Key Responsibilities- Teaching and Instruction: Deliver instruction to students in the classroom, laboratory, and clinical settings, ensuring a safe and respectful learning environment.
- Curriculum Development: Contribute to the development, implementation, and evaluation of curriculum, ensuring it meets the needs of diverse students.
- Student Assessment and Support: Conduct ongoing assessment of student learning, provide academic assistance, and refer students to College services as needed.
- Program Evaluation and Improvement: Participate in program evaluations, provide data for continuous improvement, and contribute to the development of new programs and services.
- Professional Development: Maintain up-to-date certification and licenses, develop a professional development plan, and attend in-service professional development workshops.
- Education and Experience: Must be a Licensed Practical Nurse or a Registered Nurse, with a minimum of one year of recent related work experience in a clinical setting.
- Qualifications: Preference will be given to candidates with a Health-related degree, and an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered for appointment at a developmental level.
- Skills and Abilities: Excellent communication and organizational skills, ability to plan, organize, instruct, and facilitate quality educational programs, and willingness to travel.
- Competitive Salaries: We offer a competitive salary range of $60,300 to $92,616 per year.
