About Our Company:

Bouwa Whee Catering is a leading provider of professional camp catering services to northern mines in Canada. As a division of Det'on Cho Management LP, we are proud to be 100% owned by the Yellowknives Dene First Nation, focusing on growth, teamwork, and inclusivity in our work culture.

The Role:

As a Housekeeper at the Diavik Diamond mine, you will play a crucial role in maintaining clean and safe accommodations for our guests. This is a Full-Time position that requires attention to detail and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in ordering cleaning supplies and materials
  • Provide efficient communication to ensure seamless operations and guest satisfaction
  • Manage inventory and report on stock levels
  • Participate in daily meetings and review room allocations to ensure optimal guest experience
  • Maintain the cleanliness of rooms, washrooms, and common areas to the highest standards

Requirements:

  • Minimum one year experience in housekeeping or a related field
  • WHMIS and First Aid certification
  • Familiarity with Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
  • Strong team player with attention to detail and a customer-focused approach
  • Ability to follow corporate safety procedures and protocols
  • Punctual and friendly demeanor

  • Proof of COVID-19 immunizations is required
  • Location limited to Yellowknife, NT and Edmonton, AB
  • Submit WHMIS and First Aid certifications with your resume
