We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Crew Member to join our team at Earthscape Ontario. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction in our landscaped environments.
Key Responsibilities- Perform manual duties to maintain landscaped environments, including mowing, raking, weeding gardens, and pruning trees and shrubs.
- Operate a variety of mechanical lawn equipment, such as mowers, blowers, edgers, and clippers.
- Plant flowers, grass, shrubs, and bushes to enhance our customer's properties.
- Assist our landscape construction crews as needed, where you will work on the construction of hardscape areas such as pavers, flagstone, natural stone, walls, steps, and drainage/utilities installation.
- 1-2 years of progressive experience in ornamental horticulture and landscape maintenance.
- Passion for local plants, shrubs, and trees and their respective maintenance needs.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with supervisors, colleagues, and clients.
- Ability to work outdoors in spring, summer, and fall.
- Comfortable operating lawn and garden machinery.
- Minimum G Class license.
- Competitive hourly rate of $23.00-$25.00, commensurate with experience.
