About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Physiotherapy Assistant to join our team at Listowel Physiotherapy & Health Care Centre. As a key member of our rehabilitation team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assessment and Treatment
    • Administer tests using specialized equipment to assess patient hearing loss and recommend appropriate treatment options.
    • Carry out treatment programs under the direction of physiotherapists and/or occupational therapists to rehabilitate patients with various injuries or disabilities.
  • Patient Care and Support
    • Examine adult clients to assess hearing loss and recommend type of hearing instrument.
    • Take earmold impressions and perform follow-up examinations and readjustments to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
    • Document patient rehabilitation progress and maintain accurate records.
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Process files and paperwork related to patient care and treatment.
Requirements
  • Licensure by a provincial/territorial regulatory body for Hearing Instrument Practitioner.
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
