About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Custodian to join our team at the Upper Canada District School Board.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Under the supervision of the Facilities Operations Manager, the Lead Custodian will be responsible for the appearance of an UCDSB worksite.
  • Ensuring a clean and safe environment for students, staff, and visitors.
  • Supervising and coordinating the work of custodial staff.
  • Developing and implementing custodial procedures and protocols.
  • Collaborating with other departments to ensure a smooth and efficient operation.

Requirements:

  • Post-secondary education in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience in a custodial or facilities management role.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
