The Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Bartender to join our team at Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity. As part of our award-winning hospitality services, we offer a range of dining options for guests and participants. Our Bartender will be responsible for the friendly and efficient set-up, service, tear-down and cleaning of all assigned beverage areas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Positively engaging with guests and providing exceptional customer service
  • Setting up and stocking bar stations and pre-event set-up
  • Preparing and serving alcoholic beverages in accordance with AGLC laws and Banff Centre standards
  • Tearing down bar stations and tidying up spaces post-event
  • Taking payment when applicable

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a bartender in a professional environment
  • Completion of Alberta ProServe certification
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  • High standard of customer service and good organizational skills
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure due to time constraints or large volumes of people

Special Requirements

  • Flexibility to work a rotating schedule including evenings and weekends
  • Must be 18 years or older due to liquor license requirements
