Job Summary

Fountain Tire is seeking a skilled Automotive Service Technician to join our team. As a key member of our repair shop, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing customer vehicles, maintaining a safe and clean work environment, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair complex vehicle issues, ensuring accurate and efficient service
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes and tune-ups
  • Conduct safety inspections and maintain a safe working environment
  • Provide clear and concise communication to customers and colleagues
  • Assist in inventory management and maintain accurate records
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date on industry best practices

Requirements:

  • Registered Journeyman Automotive Service Technician - Red Seal preferred
  • Valid driver's license and satisfactory driver's abstract
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing, crouching, and lifting

Working Conditions:

  • Team environment with a focus on collaboration and open communication
  • Consistent lifting of weights up to 25KG
  • Unpredictable work environment with exposure to various weather conditions
