The Facilities Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for managing and supervising the maintenance operations associated with the facilities. This role encompasses the organization of workforce, upkeep and repair of buildings, machinery, vehicle fleet, and janitorial services, along with monitoring repairs and associated costs.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage the workforce for all maintenance activities.
- Implement and maintain a Preventative Maintenance Program (PM) for buildings and equipment.
- Identify and troubleshoot issues with machinery and facilities as needed, coordinating and overseeing all repair and installation tasks.
- Maintain a stock of essential parts for the upkeep of facilities and machinery.
- Collaborate with external vendors for repairs, installations, and preventative maintenance, ensuring all necessary health and safety documentation is completed for vendor access.
- Foster a positive work environment by promoting trust, teamwork, and innovative opportunities.
- Prepare and document daily progress reports and maintenance logs.
- Monitor expenses and manage the maintenance budget effectively.
A minimum of a High School Diploma is required. A Licensed 433A Industrial Millwright is preferred. Candidates should have three to five years of experience in a comparable position. Proficiency in using hand tools is essential. Basic computer skills are also necessary.
