Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated **Tiling Apprentice** to join our team at **JY SHINWOO CONSTRUCTION LTD.** This role is ideal for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in the tile installation industry.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a related field is considered an asset.
Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and apply various adhesives, including mortar and cement, using hand tools.
  • Position tiles accurately and apply pressure to ensure they adhere properly.
  • Utilize hand and power cutting tools to shape tiles around obstacles and openings.
  • Replace cracked or damaged tiles as necessary.
  • Design and install mosaic tiles for decorative wall and floor patterns.
  • Handle and install marble and granite, ensuring proper finishing.
  • Mix and polish terra surfaces to achieve desired aesthetics.
Work Environment
  • This position is physically demanding and requires handling heavy materials.
  • The role involves travel to various job sites.
