About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Kitchen Assistant to join our team at Yellowknife Pizza Hut Ltd. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our food preparation and service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation: Assist in preparing, heating, and finishing simple food items, including take-out food and menu items.
  • Cleaning and Sanitation: Handle and store cleaning products, remove kitchen garbage and trash, and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
  • Food Handling: Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit, and sharpen kitchen knives as needed.
  • General Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a food service or kitchen environment is an asset.
  • Language: Fluency in English is required.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
