The Role: Growth Data Engineer
We are seeking a talented Growth Data Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will play a critical part in driving Stripe's growth by leveraging data to identify opportunities, measure performance, and optimize our marketing and product strategies.
Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain data pipelines to collect, process, and analyze large volumes of customer and business data.
- Develop and implement data models and algorithms to extract actionable insights from complex datasets.
- Collaborate with marketing, product, and engineering teams to identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and track progress towards growth objectives.
- Create dashboards and reports to visualize data trends and communicate findings to stakeholders.
- Continuously improve data quality and ensure the accuracy of our analytical models.
Qualifications:
- Strong programming skills in Python or Scala, with experience in data manipulation and analysis libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy).
- Proficiency in SQL for querying and managing relational databases.
- Experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS or GCP.
- Familiarity with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) is a plus.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
