Job Title: Healthcare Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Assistant to join our team at 24/7 Quality Home & Health Care Services Ltd.

Job Summary:

The Healthcare Assistant will provide high-quality patient care and support to our clients in their homes, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on people's lives and work in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist patients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Provide personal care, including toileting, feeding, and transferring patients
  • Monitor and report any changes in patients' condition to the healthcare team
  • Assist with medication administration and maintain accurate records
  • Prepare and serve meals, snacks, and refreshments
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment, adhering to infection control protocols
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance skills and knowledge
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Completion of a healthcare assistant program or equivalent experience
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification
  • Immunization records and a clean criminal record check
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Physical ability to perform the duties of the job
