Job SummaryThe successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality veterinary care to animals, including diagnosing diseases, treating injuries, and advising clients on animal care and well-being.
Key Responsibilities- Diagnose and treat diseases and injuries in animals through physical examinations and laboratory tests
- Prescribe medication, set bones, and perform surgery as needed
- Vaccinate animals to prevent and treat diseases
- Advise clients on animal care, including feeding, housing, and behavior
- Perform routine, emergency, and post-mortem examinations
- Provide a range of veterinary services, including obstetrics, dentistry, and euthanasia
- Degree in medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine, or optometry
- Excellent oral communication skills
- Reliability and ability to work as part of a team
