Courier Service Driver Job Description

Gill Courier Ltd is seeking a reliable and skilled Courier Service Driver to join our team. As a Courier Service Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating a vehicle to pick up and deliver various items and products to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate a vehicle to transport goods and materials to customers
  • Provide excellent customer service and professionalism in all interactions
  • Load and unload goods safely and efficiently
  • Use maps and other trip planning aids to optimize routes and reduce delivery times
  • Record trip information, including vehicle mileage and fuel costs
  • Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and maintenance
Requirements:
  • Class 5/5F/G Licence (cars, small trucks, and other 2-axle vehicles)
  • Valid driver's licence
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
  • Steel-toed safety boots, cellular phone, and gloves
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
