About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Dismantler to join our team at Capital Auto Recycling Ltd. As an Automotive Dismantler, you will play a crucial role in the disassembly and inspection of vehicles to recover reusable parts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and Disassemble Vehicles

You will be responsible for inspecting vehicles to determine the requirements for repair and disassembling them to recover reusable parts. This will involve using hand, power, or specially designed tools to remove and inspect components.

Repair and Replace Parts

Once the vehicle has been disassembled, you will be responsible for repairing or replacing defective or worn-out parts and components. This will involve using your technical skills and knowledge to diagnose and repair issues.

Test and Adjust Repaired Products

After repairing or replacing parts, you will be responsible for testing and adjusting the repaired products to ensure they are functioning properly.

Calibrate Products

You will also be responsible for calibrating products using hand tools to ensure they meet the required standards.

Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • Work Conditions

The work environment will be fast-paced and physically demanding, requiring you to be able to lift and move heavy objects.

Physical Capabilities

You will need to have good attention to detail and be able to work in a physically demanding environment.

Requirements
  • Education

You will need to have a secondary (high) school graduation certificate.

Experience

You will need to have at least 1 month of experience in a related field.

Personal Qualities

You will need to be organized, reliable, and have good communication skills.

Working Conditions
  • Work Hours

You will be required to work 30-40 hours per week.

Language

The primary language of work will be English.
