In the capacity of Senior Enterprise Solutions Technical Lead, you will report directly to the Manager of Enterprise Application Services. Your role will involve providing technical guidance to the Documents and Records Management operational and project teams. This includes overseeing the planning and execution of SharePoint implementations on the M365 Platform.

Your responsibilities will also encompass supporting the operational activities of the TRECS solution while facilitating the onboarding of divisional areas to this environment.

This position is pivotal in steering the technical and strategic direction for the document and records management initiative, offering leadership to the technical team that supports both operational and project teams.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Developing and executing comprehensive plans while recommending policies tailored to program-specific requirements.
  • Leading the definition, design, and implementation of foundational enterprise solutions.
  • Overseeing the development, implementation, and execution of a robust testing strategy.
  • Ensuring ongoing research and updates of enterprise solutions to align with the City's evolving needs.
  • Assisting in budget management, including planning, monitoring, reporting, and resource allocation.
  • Promoting collaboration and service excellence within cross-functional teams.
  • Managing, motivating, and training the unit's staff.
Qualifications:
  • Significant experience in service management and solution planning.
  • Proven experience in leading and managing teams effectively.
  • Extensive background in software product and project management, particularly in Documents and Records Management implementations.
  • Strong customer service orientation with the ability to establish and maintain effective stakeholder relationships.
  • Post-secondary degree/diploma in computer science or related fields, combined with substantial experience in software development projects.
