Job Title: Personal Support Aide

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Personal Support Aide to join our team at Community Living Port Colborne-Wainfleet. As a Personal Support Aide, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Accompany clients on outdoor recreational activities to promote physical and mental well-being.
  • Assist with maintenance and repair of medical equipment to ensure a safe and healthy environment.
  • Perform various tasks related to patient care and comfort, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Deliver messages, reports, and specimens between departments to facilitate effective communication.
  • Make beds and maintain patients' rooms to ensure a clean and comfortable living space.
  • Transport clients between care facilities to provide convenient and reliable transportation.
  • Report accidents, distress signals, and other emergencies to ensure a safe and secure environment.
  • Attend scheduled practice and training sessions to enhance your skills and knowledge.
  • Participate in staff meetings to stay informed and contribute to team discussions.
Requirements:
  • First Aid Certificate to ensure you are equipped to handle emergencies.
  • CPR Certificate to provide life-saving care in emergency situations.
  • Valid driver's licence to transport clients safely and efficiently.
