Job Opportunity
Lac La Ronge Indian Band is seeking a qualified candidate for a Permanent Full-Time Position as a Receiver at Keethanow Gas Bar in La Ronge, SK.
Job Summary
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Receiving, unloading, and warehousing of Food Store products
- Unloading merchandise from trucks
- Completing the proper receiving paperwork in a timely manner
- Maintaining inventory accuracy and organization
- Stocking shelves and display areas
- Ensuring proper safety procedures, maintenance, and housekeeping duties are followed
- Performing general cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping floors, and sanitizing
- Ensuring the sanitization of frequently touched surfaces in stores
Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Grade 12 or equivalent education
- Certification in operating pallet jack and power jacks is an asset
- Customer service and mechanical troubleshooting skills on a minor level
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Effective communication skills, both verbally and in writing
- Understanding of the Cree language is an asset
- Able to provide a satisfactory Criminal Record Check
