Position Overview

The Culinary Specialist at Starving Artist is responsible for the preparation and cooking of a variety of meals and dishes, ensuring high standards of quality and presentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Meal Preparation: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes, adhering to specific dietary requirements as instructed.
  • Kitchen Management: Oversee kitchen operations, ensuring cleanliness and organization of the work areas.
  • Staff Training: Train kitchen staff in food preparation, cooking techniques, and proper food handling procedures.
  • Quality Control: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to maintain health and safety standards.
Qualifications
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: A minimum of 1 year to less than 2 years in a similar role.

  • Client-focused with a strong sense of dependability.
  • Flexible and able to adapt to changing situations.
  • Demonstrates initiative and sound judgment.
  • Highly organized and reliable team player.
