Emergency Veterinarian Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Emergency Veterinarian to join our team at Vancouver Animal Emergency and Referral Centre. As a key member of our emergency department, you will provide high-quality patient care, work collaboratively with our specialty services, and contribute to a positive and supportive team environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide emergency and critical care to a diverse range of patients
  • Collaborate with our specialty services, including internal medicine, surgery, ophthalmology, and cardiology
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and their pets
  • Participate in continuing education and professional development opportunities
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment
Requirements:
  • DVM degree or equivalent, enabling practice in Canada
  • Completed a small animal internship or have 2 years of in-hospital emergency experience
  • Leadership skills combined with a positive, team-player attitude
  • Excellent diagnostic and critical care skills
  • Exemplary client service skills
  • Organizational skills, allowing you to work efficiently under pressure
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts and rotate through weekends and statutory holidays

We are a rapidly growing Emergency and Specialty Hospital offering Emergency, Internal Medicine, Surgery, Ophthalmology, and Cardiology services.
