Job Overview

NEW LINE PLUMBING INC is seeking a qualified Plumbing Technician to manage various plumbing installations and repairs. The ideal candidate will possess the necessary skills and certifications to perform effectively in a dynamic work environment.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of a Registered Apprenticeship program or equivalent experience in plumbing.
  • Experience: A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in the plumbing field.
  • Certifications: Plumber Trade Certification and a valid Driver's License (Class 3 or D).
Key Responsibilities
  • Install plumbing fixtures and systems for residential, commercial, and industrial applications.
  • Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to establish plumbing layouts and specifications.
  • Identify and mark locations for pipe connections and fixtures.
  • Cut openings in walls and floors to accommodate plumbing installations.
  • Assemble and connect pipes using various methods including soldering and welding.
  • Conduct tests on plumbing systems to ensure they are leak-free.
  • Assess and determine the requirements for piping systems and appropriate sizing.
  • Estimate material costs and project timelines.
  • Measure, cut, and shape pipes to meet specific installation needs.
Work Environment

This position involves traveling to various job sites and working on the road. The work schedule may include shifts or on-call responsibilities.
