Job Summary:
CB Canada is seeking a highly skilled Financial Operations Manager to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of our organization, ensuring compliance with accounting regulations and Ministry/Government expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage district financial support, budgeting, and reporting, as well as auditing financial journals.
- Review and approve month-end entries, overall budgets, and financial statements.
- Ensure compliance with accounting regulations and Ministry/Government expectations.
- Travel to various locations and manage your own schedule effectively.
- Be present in the office 2/5 days per week.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in a similar role.
- CPA designation or equivalent.
- Non-profit experience is an asset.
- Solid understanding of general accounting principles.
- Comfortable with in-house ERP system, MS Excel, and technology.
- Able to communicate and explain financials to stakeholders and support staff.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid Ontario Driver's License (driving required).
