Dishwasher Assistant

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Dishwasher at CORA BREAKFAST & LUNCH WINDERMERE. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a clean and safe environment for our customers and employees.
Key Responsibilities- Operate Dishwashers: Ensure that all dishes, glassware, and flatware are washed and sanitized to the highest standards.
- Storage and Organization: Place clean dishes in storage areas, maintaining a tidy and organized environment.
- Hand Washing and Sanitizing: Sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand, adhering to our high standards of cleanliness.
- Scouring and Cleaning: Scour pots and pans to remove any food residue, ensuring they are spotless and ready for use.
- Reliability: Demonstrate a strong commitment to attending work regularly and on time.
- Cultural Competency Training: Participate in diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers, refugees, and Indigenous workers.
- Youth Support: Contribute to creating a welcoming work environment for youth by participating in awareness training.
- Work Language: English
- Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week
