Service SpecialistThe Service Specialist plays a crucial role in assisting customers throughout the General Sales area. This position is vital to our mission of delivering an exceptional shopping experience every day.
Your responsibilities will include addressing customer inquiries and overseeing the front end of the store during your shift. Front end tasks encompass ensuring adequate cashier coverage, maintaining necessary supplies, managing change floats, and responding to customer assistance requests at the checkouts.
This role is fundamentally customer service-oriented, requiring frequent interaction with customers. Candidates must thrive in a fast-paced environment while consistently providing high-quality service in a professional, courteous, and helpful manner.
Successful candidates will possess strong interpersonal, motivational, delegation, and follow-up skills, along with a readiness to take on responsibilities and the ability to train others while monitoring their performance. You should be capable of managing stress and maintaining composure in challenging situations.
A positive, mature, and professional leadership style, coupled with a solid understanding of policies and procedures, is essential for this position. Previous supervisory experience is advantageous.
