About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Meat Cutter to join our team at WIT FOODS INC. as a Wholesale Meat Processor. In this role, you will be responsible for cutting, trimming, and preparing standard cuts of meat for our wholesale customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and prepare meats for processing or cutting
  • Prepare special cuts of meat ordered by customers
  • Cut, trim, and prepare standard cuts of meat
  • Wrap and package prepared meats
  • Remove bones from meat
  • Cut poultry into parts
  • Grind meats
Work Environment

As a Wholesale Meat Processor, you will work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on attention to detail and physical demands. You will be required to work under pressure and maintain a high level of productivity.

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a meat processing or packing plant/establishment
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing work conditions
  • Physical ability to perform tasks that require standing, walking, and lifting
