Job Title: Patient Service Attendant

We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Patient Service Attendant to join our team at Sioux Lookout Meno Ya Win Health Centre.

Job Summary:

The Patient Service Attendant will provide high-quality patient care and support services to our patients, ensuring their comfort, dignity, and well-being. This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Accompany patients on outdoor recreational activities and provide support with daily living tasks
  • Perform personal care duties, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming patients
  • Supply and empty bed pans, and maintain patients' rooms
  • Transport patients in wheelchair or stretcher, and assist with mobility
  • Answer call signals and respond to patients' needs in a timely and compassionate manner
  • Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to provide comprehensive patient care
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Will train
  • or equivalent experience
  • Ability to work in a multidisciplinary environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
