We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Building Operator/4th Class Power Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of building systems, including boilers, HVAC equipment, electrical systems, and plumbing systems.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and repair all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems within buildings, ensuring they operate efficiently and safely.
  • Monitor building systems performance and identify potential issues or areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.
  • Collaborate with other tradespeople and engineers to troubleshoot complex problems and ensure timely resolution.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures, promoting a safe work environment for yourself and others.
Qualifications:
  • TSBC 4th Class Power Engineer Certification or equivalent (TSSA).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in building maintenance, with a focus on steam, boiler, and hot water systems.
  • Strong understanding of building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
  • Proficiency in using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) and Building Automation Systems (BAS).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
