Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Culinary Specialist to join our team at Pho Haven Restaurant. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for food and a commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of a trades certificate or diploma in culinary arts or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: A minimum of 1 year to less than 2 years in a similar role.
Work Environment

The position is set in a vibrant restaurant atmosphere, where you will be expected to:

  • Prepare and cook a variety of meals and individual dishes.
  • Accommodate customers with specific dietary needs, including allergies and intolerances.
  • Follow dietary guidelines provided by dietitians or chefs for special meal preparations.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in kitchen and work areas.
  • Assist in organizing buffets and banquets.
Supervision

This role may involve overseeing general cooking duties and ensuring quality standards are met.

Certifications

Applicants should possess a Cook Trade Certification.

Transportation

Having your own transportation is preferred, though public transport options are available.

Physical Requirements

The position requires:

  • Attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to handle heavy loads and stand for extended periods.
  • Willingness to work overtime as needed.
