Proax Technologies Ltd. is a leading design and manufacturing firm specializing in valve automation and related pneumatic air, high pressure gas, hydraulic, and electric controls, as well as telemetry solutions.
Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Leader - Valve Automation & Control Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Valve Automation and Controls (VAC) Division, you will be responsible for technical and commercial support, sales, and design expertise.
Key Responsibilities- Technical and Commercial Review: Conduct thorough reviews of bids and RFQs to ensure accuracy and competitiveness.
- Process Valve Specification and Selection: Utilize expertise to specify and select process valves, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
- Valve Automation, Actuation & Controls Specification: Develop and specify valve automation, actuation, and controls systems, meeting customer requirements and industry standards.
- Technical Documentation and Review: Create and review technical documentation, including automated valve and controls forms, to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Collaboration and Client Support: Work closely with project management and assembly teams to deliver high-quality solutions, providing exceptional client support and technical issue resolution.
- Quote Creation and Concept Development: Develop final quotes, including concept drawings and specifications, to meet customer needs and expectations.
- Marketing and Business Development: Support various projects, develop marketing materials, and conduct market research to identify potential opportunities.
- Workflow Design and Campaign Creation: Design and implement efficient workflows in HubSpot, creating effective campaigns to drive business growth.
- Professional Image and Communication: Maintain a professional company image, ensuring excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent, with a minimum of 5 years of hydraulic design experience and 3 years of direct sales experience.
- Technical Background: Strong technical background in mechanical, electrical, and fluid power, including hydraulics or pneumatics.
- Language Skills: Bilingual in English and French is an asset.
- Personal Qualities: Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
