Job Summary

National Rent-All Inc. is seeking a skilled Mobile Crane Operator to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for safely operating a variety of mobile cranes, ranging from 22 tonne to 350 tonne, to meet the needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate Mobile Cranes: Safely operate a range of mobile cranes, including boom cranes and heavy-duty cranes, to lift and move heavy equipment and materials.
  • Pre-Lift Inspections: Conduct thorough pre-lift inspections to ensure the crane is in good working condition and identify any potential hazards.
  • Load and Unload Equipment: Load and unload heavy equipment and materials from the crane, ensuring safe and efficient operations.
  • Collaborate with Team Members: Work closely with supervisors, other employees, and clients to coordinate lifting operations and ensure smooth project execution.
  • Troubleshoot Issues: Troubleshoot operational issues and recommend solutions to ensure safe and efficient crane operations.
  • Document Activity: Maintain accurate records of crane activity, including daily logs and maintenance records.
Requirements
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience operating mobile cranes, with a strong background in heavy equipment operation.
  • Licenses and Certifications: Hold a valid 339A License, Mobile Crane Operator Red Seal, and a minimum DZ License.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills to effectively coordinate lifting operations with team members and clients.
  • Mechanical Knowledge: Strong mechanical knowledge to perform basic maintenance tasks on cranes.
