Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Field Technologist to join our team at Magna IV Engineering. As a key member of our field services team, you will be responsible for leading project teams and overseeing the commissioning, repair, and maintenance of primary and secondary power equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead project teams and ensure successful project execution
  • Commission, repair, and maintain power delivery equipment, including breakers, switchgear, relays, and transformers
  • Develop and implement site strategies to meet project timelines and quality standards
  • Provide technical reviews and generate reports to support project execution
  • Support invoicing and ensure accurate inclusion of applicable extras for work performed
  • Provide feedback to managers on project execution and employee performance onsite
  • Integrate junior employees into projects in a safe and productive manner
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience as an Electrical Technologist, Field Technician, Power System Electrician, or Electrical Engineer
  • Hands-on field experience commissioning, testing, or maintaining power delivery equipment
  • Broad knowledge of commercial, industrial, and utility environments
  • Electrical Engineering degree, PSE, or CET, and NETA certification is an asset
  • Proven experience leading engaged and productive project teams
  • Valid driver's license and proficiency in Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends, evenings, and statutory holidays
