About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Education Consultant to join our team at Western British Columbia Polytechnic College. As an Education Consultant, you will play a key role in developing and implementing educational programs that meet the needs of our students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Curriculum Development: Develop and implement curriculum programs that align with industry standards and meet the needs of our students.
  • Research and Analysis: Conduct research and analysis to inform curriculum development and program evaluation.
  • Professional Development: Provide on-going professional development, training, and consultative services to teachers to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to deliver high-quality educational programs.
  • Program Evaluation: Evaluate curriculum programs and recommend improvements to ensure they are meeting their intended outcomes.
  • Communication: Develop and deliver presentations, reports, and other materials to stakeholders, including teachers, administrators, and industry partners.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in education or a related field.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 35 hours per week.

  • Communication Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills to develop and deliver presentations, reports, and other materials.

  • Judgement: Ability to make sound judgements and recommendations to inform curriculum development and program evaluation.
  • Accuracy: Ability to maintain accurate records and reports.
  • Reliability: Ability to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality work products.
