We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team at North Star. As a Painter, you will be responsible for preparing, cleaning, and sanding surfaces to be painted, repairing cracks and holes, and applying paint, wallpaper, and other materials to interior and exterior surfaces.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and repairing cracks and holes.
- Mix paint to the desired color and texture.
- Measure, cut, and apply wallpaper and other fabric to walls.
- Advise customers on colors and choice of wall coverings.
- Erect scaffolding and swing stages and attach rigging.
- Estimate costs and materials.
- 2 years of experience in painting or a related field.
- Permanent employment.
- English language proficiency.
- 40 hours of work per week.
