We are seeking a Medical Laboratory Assistant to join our team at the Lillooet Hospital. As a Medical Laboratory Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the laboratory team in providing high-quality patient care.

Key responsibilities
  • Collect and process blood and other specimens for analysis
  • Prepare and distribute specimens to departments and outside labs
  • Operate laboratory equipment and perform routine tests
  • Enter data into the Laboratory Information System (LIS)
  • Perform related clerical duties and ECG testing as required

The Lillooet Hospital is a 24/7 emergency department with 6 inpatient beds, offering multi-disciplinary allied health and community health services. The hospital is co-located with the Mountain View Lodge long-term care facility. The rural mountain town of Lillooet offers a unique blend of history, culture, and outdoor activities.
