The role of a Mechanical Assistance Technician involves providing essential support in various mechanical tasks within a dynamic work environment.
Educational Requirements- Completion of a secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Equivalent experience may also be considered
The work setting is characterized by:
- High noise levels
- Dusty conditions
As a Mechanical Assistance Technician, your duties will include:
- Transporting tools, equipment, and materials as needed
- Assisting in surveying activities by holding stakes
- Communicating safety protocols to colleagues and the public
- Supporting tradespeople, apprentices, and other team members as required
- Maintaining cleanliness of machinery and workspaces
Prior experience in a similar role is considered an asset.
