Position Overview

The role of a Meat Processing Specialist involves a variety of tasks related to the preparation and presentation of meat products. This position is essential in ensuring high-quality standards are met in both retail and wholesale environments.

Educational Requirements
  • Completion of a secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
Key Responsibilities
  • Perform standard cuts of meat with precision.
  • Wrap and package meats to maintain freshness and quality.
  • Expertly remove bones from various meat types.
  • Divide poultry into appropriate sections.
  • Grind different types of meats as needed.
  • Shape, lace, and tie roasts, along with other meats, poultry, and seafood.
Work Environment and Physical Demands

This position requires:

  • Prolonged periods of standing.
  • A physically demanding work environment.
  • Ability to handle heavy loads safely.
Experience Requirements

Applicants should have:

  • A minimum of 1 year and up to 2 years of relevant experience.
