We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our team at Fastenal Canada. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, receiving and processing shipments, and ensuring the efficient storage and retrieval of products.
Key Responsibilities- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records, including tracking stock levels, monitoring inventory movements, and identifying discrepancies.
- Receiving and Processing Shipments: Receive, inspect, and process incoming shipments, ensuring that all products are properly labeled and stored.
- Storage and Retrieval: Ensure that products are stored in a safe and organized manner, and that inventory is easily accessible for retrieval.
- Quality Control: Conduct regular quality checks to ensure that products meet company standards.
- Communication: Maintain effective communication with team members, supervisors, and external partners to ensure seamless logistics operations.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Work Experience: Experience an asset
- Work Setting: Retail/wholesale establishment/distribution centre
- Physical Demands: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
